Because of my dear Aunt Julie...I will now write a short entry...haha. Sooo there's not much that has been going on. We had finals at school and my students did pretty well. They worked really hard on all of their other finals and ranked in the top 5 of all of the classes. Last weekend, I hung out with some friends and then got a Chinese massage! I went with some new people that I met (Breana from California, Mark from New York) and it was really fun! It was 90 RMB for a 90 minute full body massage and it was great! They were really rough but it actually felt really good. Afterwards, we went to a western style place where they had really good food and it was actually pretty cheap. I head a club sandwich and some fries and it was so nice to have regular food! After that, I just pretty much went back to Joy's apartment and had an early night in. The next day when I woke up, I realized how rough the massage actually was, my body was so sore!! I checked myself over the next few days and I literally had some black and blue marks on my body! I think it actually made my back hurt more than it helped. Next time, I'll have to ask them to do it a little softer!
Monday and Tuesday (1-13/14), I didn't really do much of anything. Monday, I sat and watched Dexter (oh yes, I bought Netflix...major time waster) and then apparently the students were back at school just for the day so I had lunch with them. They left right after lunch so then I had the rest of the day to be a bum. Tuesday, I actually went into the classroom and put together all the students test papers to give to their parents. Of course, I waited until the last minute to do it so Hannah was stressing about me getting everything to the parents on time! I didn't know what the other teachers were talking about so I just dropped off my papers and then left haha. Nobody came looking for me in my office so I guess I didn't really need to be there! The rest of the night, I just packed my bags and watched Dexter haha. Very lazy...I know. But I did have my bags packed before I started watching so that's not too bad!
Wednesday morning, I went to the train station and got on my train to Beijing. I arrived in Beijing around 3:30 and then took the subway to my Roses' apartment. We pretty much just sat around the house the rest of the night cause...we were lazy haha. Roses' friend Tamara came over and we watched The Wolf of Wallstreet and had some delicious pizza. Pretty lazy night! But pretty awesome. And if you haven't seen that movie, I highly suggest you to see it! So then this morning, we all woke up and now are trying to figure out what to do. Maybe go out for the some food and then do a little shopping, so that's all folks! Maybe I'll write again tonight/tomorrow!
